Styles in MS Word

1. Introduction

In Microsoft Word, a Style is a set of predefined formatting instructions that you can apply to text to change its appearance quickly and consistently.

A style may include settings for:

  • Font type, size, and color
  • Paragraph spacing and alignment
  • Line spacing
  • Indentation and borders

Using styles helps you maintain a uniform and professional look throughout your document β€” especially useful in reports, business plans, and projects.
